Hi!
First of all thanks for the websites of Longmen Pai and for this forum.
As I am interested in the psychological aspects of Daoism I have found the perspective and narrative of Opening the Dragon Gate very interesting and unique. So I would ask about the exercise (the entire cycle rather) called "Repentance" in Cleary's translation. Are some directives (besides those ones written down in the book) that could be shared openly in order to refine the mind for daoist discipline? Is it a daily exercise? Is "structured thought" a spontaneous process or is self induced? Is it used today in the training or there are adaptions of it?
Thanks in advance

Here's a simple and powerful Taoist meditation practice which can be done either outside, or indoors. It's similar in many ways to Buddhist Shamata sitting meditation practice, but as the name indicates you're standing and for one, it's less likely that you'll fall asleep. It is strength training to your legs while you bend your knees and flex your hip joints slightly i.e. sink into the “kua”. It is strength training to your arms while you hold your arms at different positions.

Having a regular commitment to standing qi gong practice is an essential method to effect energy healing in medical qigong and tui na massage therapy, and it can improve the ability of any massage therapist and acupuncturist to effect healing with clients.

5 Key benefits of the exercise,

- Improve Health and Increase Vitality
- Longevity
- Develop Internal Force
- Mind Expansion
- Spiritual Cultivation

Hello everyone i am feeling better and receiving help from an experienced healer and will update everything after it is sealed again

What to do if the yang embryo breaks?

There is a constant leaking of energy or maybe essence into my stomach because of this injury. For the past 2 1/2 months i have been continually everyday clearing out all of the blockages that form though out my whole body. This takes me about 2-3 hours per day. it just continues to leak. I do not know what do to or if this injury will ever heal or if i am losing my essence. I was told that i would get some advice from master wang almost a month ago. Im still waiting patiently, i believe he is the only one that can help me, but if anyone else has any advice it would be very helpful. I am trying to not let my mind get the best of me and stay strong and not lose my will power, but it is hard when I have no light to direct my will power.
